Installing Fresh Guard into your home will not only give you peace of mind and an extremely comprehensive system, but will also be installed in the most decoration friendly way possible. All units other than the command module are wireless and are installed by ‘SSAIB’ approved technicians.

The Command Module contains the systems processor which manages and monitors a variety of sensors and detectors. It contains the back-up battery, communications modules, keypad, sounder and speakers.

This solid state unit is hardwired to the mains supply and your telephone line, it is the only unit within the system that requires hard wiring, all other units use the most up to date wireless technology available. It’s not just an alarm system, at Fresh we believe in not leaving anything to chance, that’s why the system includes:

Gas Detectors and
Panic Buttons

Remote Monitoring

A remotely monitored alarm means that the system is connected to an alarm receiving centre. This is essentially a command centre where your alarm rings into, if activated by an intruder or by your panic button or by a smoke or gas detector.

The command centre is only as good as the staff running it and for this reason all command centre staff are vetted by the police.

The command centre can inform the following people/authorities:

Keyholders - Any amount of keyholders can be nominated and an order of priority can be set as to who is contacted first by the command centre, which is done following a confirmed activation.

Careholders - Some end users have very specific medical requirements, such as insulin dependency. These can be catered for and will ensure not only the speed of response but more importantly the right response.

Family - Many keyholders are members of the immediate family. This is especially welcomed by not only the recipient but also this offers much greater peace of mind for the family that are looking after the elderly or infirm as they can be notified immediately upon a confirmed activation.

Consider this, your elderly parents live an hour’s drive away. If they had a conventional alarm system and required help with it, what is your choice? Pack the family in the car, cancel all the days’ plans and go there. With Fresh Guard all you have to do is ring the system from your phone, enter a security code and then you are able to enter the command module and do anything from set the system to run a diagnostic check, then ring mum and dad back and reassure them everything is fine.

If an attack is taking place in the home and the panic button is activated the monitoring station can call 999 and announce this over the command module to the perpetrator(s). Virtual Front Door

An ideal addition to the Fresh Guard system is this ‘Virtual Front Door’. Any approaching person will be automatically brought up on your home TV, when switched on.

All too often we read about the bogus caller masquerading as the gas man or working for the water board, they can work in pairs and as one distracts the home owner the other is left free to roam and rob the premises.
